We work hard to find the best possible hybrids to fit your operation. We offer organic to RIB triple stack corn with numbers suited for grain, silage or both.
Soybeans
Wide range of maturities with all the current technologies available. We follow field trial and farm results closely to bring the best bean varieties to you. Excellent pre treatment options to inoculate and protect beans from insects and other pests. 2.5 soybeans pictured.
Sorghums
Here is a great line up of sorghums! Our best seller is Forager 55 which is a high producing forage sorghum that only grows 6-7 ft tall and produces a lot of grain. We also have BMRs, sorghum/sudan and some very productive red and white grain sorghums. Forager 55 forage sorghum is pictured.
Alfalfa
Littau Seed is your source for the highest quality alfalfa varieties. We can get common, organic, highly productive and long lasting America’s Alfalfa that has conventional, Roundup Ready and HarvXtra numbers
Grasses
Our grass selection is excellent! With both native and tame species available like smooth and meadow brome, tall-intermediate-luna and manska wheatgrasses, orchard, timothy, teff and big bluestem to name just a few. Forages
We carry an excellent supply of forages like pearl and German millet, oats, rye, triticale, forage peas, barley and clover. Pictured is pearl millet- very leafy and highly palatable.
Cover Crops
Cover crops are being used more widely by the year- some benefits of planting cover crops include- erosion control, increasing organic matter, supplemental grazing, nitrogen fixation, nutrient scavenging, weed suppression and more. Sunflowers
We set out to find the best varieties of sunflowers for our region and used local university trials to source the best yielding and averaging numbers available.
Organics
